1969 Camaro

I have owned this car for 16 years.  After many well intended attempts at restoring it myself I finally decided to let Hoosier Hotrods & Classics restify the car.  We are making a pro-touring car that will hopefully make it to the 2007 Power Tour.  Plans for the car include new crate motor, new Tremec 5 speed, new subframe, steering and suspension, air conditioning, disc brakes,  new wheels and tires and many other upgrades that will make this car awesome to drive.

Once Ryan started working on the car, we found out that it was in worse shape that I thought.  We have put new fenders, new quarters, new doors, partial floor pans, partial trunk pans, new hood and various other body repairs.

UPDATE 05/22  The car is sitting in my garage.  Paint\bodywork is complete, car is mechanically sound.  I'm working on interior now.  Should be ready for Power Tour 07!

This was taken in 1990 or 91. This was my daily driver for about 3 years while in college.

This was taken around 2001. The car didn't look that bad from 15 ft.

SBC 400 bored .030 with all of the goodies. This was a great motor. I wanted something a little less radical and a lot more reliable. Fuel injection was also on the want list.

You can see the American Racing 200s wheels. I really liked the wheels, but I also really wanted PT ugrade with disc brakes.

Interior

In 2005 we decided to have the car professionally restored.

The kids thought this was cool.

RamJet 350.

Paint is finally on the car. This was taken the first time I saw the car in paint.

You car really see the metalflake in this picture.

This was the first time that I saw the wheels on the car. I was so excited that I forgot the center cap.

Before the front goes on.

If I only had a starter!

Starting to come together

Pic taken at a local show. Notice how the 3" drop springs didn't do quite what I was expecting!

Another pic from the show. The guys at HHC did a nice job with the show.
